Is this site dying?
Only 300 comments on the match thread, whereas a year or two ago there would be double that.

Not another death in 2016. I can't take any more of this!

Re: Is this site dying?
Its difficult to come up with new descriptions of Nobes being shit without being overly cliched.

Re: Is this site dying?
Especially seeing as Noble, far from being shit, is the beating heart of the team.

I must admit the Swansea match threat was unusually quiet.

Normally when we score you can't load the website for 30 seconds. I think it was just because it was Boxing Day and fewer people were around. Will be back to normal soon

The match threads are only busy when we're losing. The same boring cunts churning out the same old miserable bollocks.

Re: Is this site dying?
It's funny because I've been thinking this recently. I can't remember when I joined this site (under my previous nom de plume of The Hooded Claw) but it was when it was a dot COM! I'm guessing it must around 1999 time?

The site was always a good mix of decent footie stuff, a fucking good piss taking laugh and a bit of cunting. However like a acerbic wit in it's youth, this site is becoming a bit of a bore in it's later years.

There are MUCH too much political vitriol on here, it never used to be like that? I'm not sure if that is a reflection of the times we live in but it's mostly not welcome by me to be honest. I am sure there are better sites to discuss your political views and get all the bile out you need then come back here and talk squad formation ot whether Noble has got to go or not (he has, btw!).

Plus we used to have many threads that would go on for ages with strong but good natured joshing and piss-taking. Now so many threads just turn into a massive cunting in about three minutes, it's such a bore to read and I'm sure will only appeal to an ever decreasing, hard-boiled circle of members.

I don't think any of this is to do with the Swansea thread but here I am sitting here in my middle forties with all the nostalgia of my middle to late twenties and given the choice would have have that site back? Yep, in a heartbeat.

To be honest I think the site needs a total overhaul and to get back to what made it such a great site in the first place. In my opinion, of course.

I fucking hope not. The last recluse of the anti kumb brigade. I can't be bothered with anything else. I love this site to be frank. It's less fun without dicksie, one mac and the likes of v for vendetta, cockaine frankie and chicken run maniac.

Perhaps people had something better to do on a Boxing Day afternoon than post on an internet chat forum???

I know I did...

Another 2016 RIP WHO. All the best posters disappeared when they stopped the black fonts/Anons. I understand they had to censor the site in these days of PC. Probably about right, would be surprised if WHO ever had more than a 100 posters at any one time after that, the multiple usernames don't fool anyone. Many repeat themselves seems like dementia is setting in at times, inevitable that they would run out of things to say in the end. Sad to see its demise but all good things.....

Re: Is this site dying?
The WHO gold moments seemed to fade in the days of Belstaff , Lord Zoltan and the Millhouse era.

Now it is a bit tedious , with half the posters now a foreign affairs and political expert ffs 25000 posts on EU Referendum 23rd June 2016 declares Cameron , mainly down to a handful of culprits , well one H&P ( no offence intended ).

However , boxing day , family , plenty of food and drink , available on TV , juggling keeping family happy or out of the way for the footy , I suppose logging onto West Ham online was the last of peoples concern and I imagine celebrated after the game with a drink and couldn't be arsed to debate or as usual complain what was a great result.

WHO IS ALIVE AND WELL.

JUST FULL OF CUNTS. ( half of them being likeable cunts ).

Re: Is this site dying?
Certainly not as busy as it used to be, night shift often goes hours with no posts.

Reckon the age demographic here would have gone up as well, would guess most of the long time posters are at least in there 40,s, younger generation is into all the social media nonsense like Twitter, that wasn’t really around in the way it is these days when the likes of WHO got going, again bet most regular posters here don’t use them either.

Hope WHO keeps going though, still enjoy it and a part of my daily routine to check in at regular intervals when online, it is for the older fan these days IMO, and the older fan who is thick skinned and doesn’t take being cunted off too seriously, mind you have to really, anyone easily offended or upset would be gone in a week!!

Particularly like the fact it gives an outlet to vent ones spleen on all subjects not just football without getting warnings or banned for such petty things like bad language.

Re: Is this site dying?
Pretty much everything gets boring in the end and peaks. Problem here is the same stuff and same old cliches get repeated time after time after time. How many years can you keep talking about the same stuff for? The mentality has also changed on here ref point scoring and bumping of old threads to prove a point, that never use to happen. This is just one big playground, mainly full of fucking idiots.

It used to be a great site.

Re: Is this site dying?
I hope that's not true. Despite the moaning I enjoy this site because the use of fuck, cunt, shit and wank is soup du jour.

KUMB has mods that are up your arse for even thinking about wandering off topic.

Re: Is this site dying?
No, it's not dying. It's still the best West Ham fan site - by a distance. All sites like this have their ups and downs and WHO has had far more ups than downs. There are some previous characters that I miss, but people come and go. Twas always thus. Would love to see the old black fonters return, though... ee by gum.
